Looking Back, Looking Ahead
This course has been a totally different experience than I anticipated. It's been a good one at that! While I am not an educator in a classroom, I still found that I could use various resources and ideas with my clients from a nutrition and dietetic standpoint. I also discovered a lot about myself from both a professional view and personal.
For example, mapping out my digital space was such a fun blog post to work on and write. It was eye-opening to see where I spend my time online and how much was personal time and professional time.

Starting up a blog initially, caused a little anxiety, honestly. The idea of putting my thoughts out there for others to see made me question if I'd be up for the challenge. Turns out I was! 😄
Resources like Screencastify was a difficult one to get acclimated to, but I was really proud of myself for figuring it out. I thought Padlet was a cool and new-to-me website that could be useful for my clients to create their own nutrition-focused boards.

I could probably touch on most of the resources I discovered throughout this course that I could use in my practice, with clients and patients. While I am not in the traditional classroom as many in this course, I found that being a teacher in a class with students is so paralleled to being a dietitian educating their patients on living a healthy lifestyle. For that I am thankful and I look forward to digging deeper into resources discovered this semester that I made note of and find how I can integrate them into my dietetic practice!
What was your favorite resource discovered?
